A native of Mexico, Angela has been facilitating yoga and mindfulness for children since 2014. Angela earned her Kids Yoga certification through Rainbow Kids Yoga and Yoguitos, and her Mindfulness Training through Chi Kids. She became more involved in teaching after seeing how today's kids are overexposed to stressed. In each class, she helps children cope with emotional and mental challenges, gain control of their bodies and minds, increase their focus, gain confidence, and have fun. Angela loves helping kids activate new neural paths and develop a sense of who they are. She has noticed that yoga can help kids tune into their experience, activate their senses, and improve their perception of their environment. Love brought her to Vancouver in 2015. She loves to eat tacos, chocolate and dance cumbia.
