To our loving community:

We are excited to announce that we have been approved to reopen as of tomorrow, Saturday November 21st! Booking is now open and you can start registering for classes!

But first, let's talk about Covid-19 as it's on the top of all our mind:

With Covid-19 we recognize that you want to do everything to protect yourself and your loved ones. We do, too! We are proactively doing everything we can to ensure that you will be safe and all measures are being taken to be sure that happens. Please review all of our rules before attending the studio.

What we're doing to reduce the risk:

  • All of our team, staff and teachers, will be wearing masks in the lobby and change room areas of the studio. Masks are mandatory while in the lobby and studio area. Once you are on your mat you may remove your mask if you wish. If you are leaving your mat for any reason, to go to the washroom/to get more props/after class, please put on your mask.

  • Maximum 2-3 staff members/teachers will be in the studio at any given time. One front desk person, one or two teachers max.

  • We will be implementing a no-touch check-in system. This will require you to download the MindBody app. We ask that you please make sure this is downloaded ahead of time to ensure a smooth check-in process.

  • Maintain a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) between mats by finding the mat markers on the floor of the studio. The top of your mat must be lined up with a mat marker.

  • Maintain a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) by the washroom by finding the markers.

  • Due to their close proximity and size, strollers, kids’ scooters and bikes are not allowed inside the studio.

  • As always, hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes will be available throughout the studio.

  • Anyone who has had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days must self-isolate at home. Symptoms include: fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and new muscle aches or headache.

  • Anyone under the direction of the provincial health officer to self-isolate must follow those instructions.

  • Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada, or who has been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case, must self-isolate for 14 days and self-monitor for symptoms.

  • Due to limited space, visitors or anyone who is not registered for a class or program are not allowed to sit in the waiting area.

Note for students :

  • Masks are mandatory while in the lobby and studio area (adults & kids). Once you are on your mat you may remove your mask if you wish. If you are leaving your mat for any reason, to go to the washroom/to get more props/after class, please put on your mask.

  • 3 hour pre-registration is required for all classes. Please pre-register on MindBody to hold your spot. However, we recommend pre-registering at least 12 hours in advance as there are only 10 spots.

  • If you need to cancel your class please do so a minimum of 12 hour prior to the class start time. Cancelling less than 12 hours prior to your class will result in a no-show fee of $25. This is to ensure that all those who are wanting to practice are given the opportunity.

  • Class sizes will be limited to ten adults/kids in the adult room, and six kids in the kids room (big room) in order to ensure safe social distancing practices in line with WorkSafeBC guidelines.

  • The front door will be opened by our front desk staff when we are ready to welcome you into the studio. We want to allow students from the previous class to leave the space before the next class enters, so please wait patiently until our doors are open! This should be 5-10 minutes before class begins.

  • We have allowed for a minimum of 15 minutes up to 30 minutes between classes to properly clean the space, props and tidy before the next class. Please be patient when arriving for class and wait until the studio is all clean before entering the studio room.

  • Please keep personal items to a minimum. Friendly reminder that phones and smart watches are not allowed in the practice room, except for on-call medical professionals.

  • You will find mat markers on the floor of the studio. The top of your mat must be lined up with a mat marker.

  • There will be no hands-on adjustments.

  • You are welcome to use our props! We use alcohol to sanitize all of our props after classes. If you do use props, please place them on the floor beside the prop wall. This will signal to our front-desk staff that they have been used and need to be sanitized.

  • Bring your own mat. We are not currently renting yoga mats, you are welcome to bring your own.

Please bear with us as we navigate through all of these changes. We anticipate some challenges as we adjust to this new normal for the time being. We will start with a limited number of in-person classes and slowly add more. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
