Having grown up as a dancer, Mandi has a passion for movement and a strong background in all things fitness. She started teaching at the age of 14, where she taught dance to competitive and non-competitive dancers, skaters, gymnasts, school children, and adults. After years of dancing, Mandi immersed herself in the yoga practice to help her heal from dance-related injuries. After completing her degree in Psychology, she backpacked around the world for five years, where she visited over thirty countries. After moving back to Vancouver, she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Vancouver School of Yoga. Mandi currently teaches over fifteen classes a week around the city as a yoga and Barre instructor. Her previous experience as a dancer and dance teacher have given her a deep understanding of the body and alignment, which she weaves into her teachings with humour and positive vibes.
