Adult yoga
Marina is a yoga teacher and a nature enthusiast with over 15 years of experience in yoga, health and fitness. Her practice spans a wide range of styles, from Ashtanga, Hatha and Bikram to Yin and therapeutic yoga. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in Rishikesh, India, and has since been passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces for practitioners to build strength in both body and mind. Marina’s classes focus on gentle yet strengthening flows that adapt to all bodies and experience levels. She also enjoys sharing the basics of acro yoga and partner yoga. Beyond yoga, she is an experienced weightlifter and functional athlete who values balance through strong, mindful movement and joyful rest days with sweet treats and spicy foods.Outside the studio, Marina works towards greater climate adaptation, resilience, and environmental justice, supporting communities in the mountains and along the coast through engagement and research. She moved to Vancouver in September 2025 from her home in Thailand to deepen her studies at UBC; she looks forward to building on this yoga community with each of you!
