Reima
Kids Yoga
Reima is a student at Simon Fraser University where she is currently studying neuroscience. With a deep passion for health, wellness and the mind-body connection, Reima began practicing yoga at 13, finding it an essential outlet for stress relief and personal growth. As her understanding of the nervous system deepened, her daily yoga practice became not only a source of joy and clarity, but also a lens through which she could explore the science behind mental and physical wellbeing. Soon after turning 19, Reima completed a 240-hour yoga teacher training, which enriched her knowledge of yoga’s history, philosophy, and science. This solidified her desire to share its benefits with others.
Reima is particularly passionate about working with children, having volunteered with young individuals with neurological disorders such as ASD and ADHD since she was 14. Through these experiences, Reima has witnessed the profound impact of teaching mindfulness and self-care practices from an early age. For Reima, yoga is more than a physical practice. It is a way to nurture the mind, body, and spirit. She loves guiding students to feel the bliss, clarity, and resilience that yoga fosters, combining her academic understanding of the nervous system with her love for movement and mindfulness. Her goal as a teacher is to create an accessible and compassionate space where every student can explore their inner strength and wellbeing.
